1. Who we are
From the Home and About pages.
together² is a charity in Sydney.
We have helped our local community for 40 years.
We support 3 groups of people:
- people with disability
- older people
- everyone in our local community
Our main building is at 754 Darling Street, Rozelle.
We started there as a neighbourhood centre. We are still there today.
2. Disability support
From the Disability pages.
We support people with disability across Sydney.
We are a registered NDIS provider. Our provider number is 4050003922.
Supported Independent Living is a home of your own, with support workers who help you every day.
It can be one of our shared homes, or a place you already live.
We also have:
- day programs, with cooking, music and outings
- help for school leavers to get ready for work
- positive behaviour support
- nurses and therapists
Anyone can ask us about disability support. You, your family or your support coordinator.

3. Support at home
From the In-home support page.
A support worker can come to your home.
They help with everyday things, like showering, cooking, and going to the shops.
You meet your workers first. You choose who supports you.
You can ask for a different worker at any time. You do not have to say why.
Support is not only at home. Workers can go out into the community with you.
Your home stays your home. Workers follow your rules.
4. Support coordination
From the Support coordination page.
A support coordinator helps you understand your NDIS plan.
They help you find the right services and keep them working together.
Our coordinators include social workers and nurses.
They can help when things are complex, or when other services are involved too.
You never have to use our other services.
When we suggest a service, we tell you if it is ours. We give you other choices too.
5. Aged care
From the Aged care page.
We help older people keep living at home.
This can be help around the house, and getting out and about.
The Australian Government pays most of the cost.
You pay a small part. We agree the amount with you first. If money is tight, tell us.
To start, you need a free check called an assessment, through My Aged Care.

6. Community services
From the Community page.
Our community hub is at 754 Darling Street, Rozelle.
It is open to everyone. You do not need a referral.
We give out free food every week:
- fresh bread on Wednesday
- fruit and vegetables on Friday
There are also cooking programs, a garden, free events, and groups at our Mort Bay room.
The hub is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

7. Everyone belongs

Everyone is welcome at together².
We welcome people of every age, ability, culture, gender and sexuality.
We can arrange an interpreter, or Auslan, for any conversation with us.
Just tell us.
8. Work with us
From the Careers page.
We hire people to work in disability support, aged care, and community services.
New jobs go on our website often.
You can also volunteer.
Volunteers help with free food, the garden and events. You do not need experience.

It pays for things like free food and community events.
Gifts over $2 are tax-deductible.

- NDIS
- The National Disability Insurance Scheme. It pays for support for people with disability.
- NDIS plan
- A plan from the NDIS that says what support you can get, and how much money there is for it.
- Supported Independent Living
- Support workers who help you with everyday life, in the place you call home.
- Support coordinator
- A person who helps you use your NDIS plan and find services.
- Assessment
- A free check to see what help you need at home.
- My Aged Care
- The Australian Government service for help at home when you are older.
- Volunteer
- Someone who helps without being paid.
- Tax-deductible
- You can take a gift off your tax at the end of the year.
