Together2 was created to empower connections and well-being within our community. For us, it’s that simple.
A huge part of this is being there to support our community in those times when they need an extra boost to make navigating the daily challenges of life a little bit easier.
Sometimes it’s the little things that can make a big difference to your day – like a fresh loaf of bread or some tasty, nourishing food. Thanks to our army of amazing volunteers, and the support of some fantastic local businesses and organisations, we are able to run our Pop-Up Pantry, provide weekly meal deliveries and host our famous neighbourhood Breadnesday!
Absolutely anyone in our local Rozelle community is welcome to put their hand up for a hot meal or come along to our hub, take what you need and enjoy a cup of coffee and a chat with our team.
It doesn’t matter whether you just need something extra to get through the week, simply don’t have the energy to prepare lunch/dinner this time, or want an excuse to get out and connect more with your neighbourhood – you are our community, so whatever your reason or need, we’ve created these food services for you.
Breadnesday
Every Wednesday, without fail, we run our ‘Breadnesday’ stall out the front of our community hub. Come on down and pick up a loaf of fresh bread from 10am – 12pm. Sometimes we even have some groceries or fresh herbs as a little something extra to brighten up your day.
And when we say fresh bread, we mean it! Our wonderful supporters at Gift of Bread, Victoire and Paddy the Baker donate their tasty, handmade bread every week just for our community.
Our Pop-Up Pantry – fortnightly
We hold a pop-up pantry every second Friday from 12:30-2pm where anyone is welcome to grab some fresh fruit and veg, or other groceries and dry food staples. We started this to provide a social, local neighbourhood ‘market’ with a difference. Grab a box or bag, browse the stalls and take what you need – no questions asked, no payment required.
“Our goal is to create a space that gives dignity back to providing food relief for people who may be having a rough go of it right now. No judgement, just positive human connection and a way to reconnect our local community” Marco – together2 Social Enterprise Manager
Meal Delivery – Good in the Hood
“I volunteer for Good in the Hood because I want a kinder, more caring and more compassionate world. I want our clients to realise that, despite their hardships, people are looking out for them. I hope to make someone’s life just a little better.” – Good in the Hood volunteer
In partnership with Vinnies Rozelle, every Tuesday and Friday we deliver meals and food hampers to members of our community that are packed and delivered by our team of volunteers – have we mentioned how amazing they are yet?
We also couldn’t do this without the support of so many incredible local organisations. Food for our hampers are generously provided by OzHarvest, local restaurants and cafes make delicious meals, and we are able to purchase additional items as needed subsidised by Food Bank.
“I am unable to cook and these meals mean I get to enjoy a delicious hot meal, the man who delivers the meals is always very friendly & caring” – Pamela
Would a hot meal delivery every week make a positive difference for you? Then we would love to provide it. Give us a call or register online to go on our list for a tasty meal delivery every week.

“Delivering meals and food to people in need makes me feel positive about our community. It shows me that we can all work together to do something worthwhile for others. It’s my small shout-out to Gandhi – Be the change you want to see in the world.” – together2 volunteer
We can promise you – you won’t regret it! Whether you can cook some meals, pack food hampers, help with admin or deliver meals and smiles to our community, your support would be invaluable. Just fill in the form on the Good in the Hood website, or get in touch with our together2 team and we’ll point you in the right direction.
“My partner and I joined as volunteers as we wanted to give back to the local community as best as we can. Having busy schedules, it’s hard for us to find regular time to give back, but being part of the meal prep gives us the flexibility to support as and when we can, as well as it being a fun activity to do together. It’s such a rewarding group, and the team makes it seamless and easy to get involved.” – Jayne
