Our Future

A Community-Led Plan, 2026–2029

This is together²'s board-endorsed plan for the next three years — built with the people and families we support, not just for them. It sets out why a place-based, community-led model matters, and what we are doing about it.

Why this matters

People with a disability and older people are often the most disconnected from their own neighbourhood — not because they want to be, but because services are built around transport, rosters and buildings rather than around belonging. Our plan starts from the opposite end: what would it take for everyone in the Inner West to belong here?

The road ahead

Over 2026 to 2029 we are deepening our place-based model in the Inner West, growing the café and Good in the Hood partnership, expanding specialist and behaviour support, and continuing the systemic advocacy that comes from being embedded in one community rather than spread thin across many.
